Vladimir is an uncomfortable, messy, and surprisingly addictive character study about obsession, desire, and the stories we tell ourselves. Rachel Weisz is the reason to watch, delivering a fearless performance as a woman spiralling through a midlife crisis while questioning her marriage, her career, and her own sense of power.

The series is deliberately awkward and often pushes its characters into morally questionable territory, but that's where much of its appeal lies. It isn't interested in giving you someone easy to root for—it wants you to sit with the contradictions. Some moments are sharp and darkly funny, while others feel like they are trying a little too hard to provoke.

Not everyone will connect with its strange tone, but if you enjoy character-driven dramas about flawed people making terrible choices, Vladimir is worth the ride. Strange, uncomfortable, and carried by a brilliant lead performance.
